I'm with Max and Blackbird ("Live is where it's at"). If Sony isn't going to make an effort to challenge Xbox Live. Fuck 'em...I'll go with the 360. Hopefully by the time I get a 360 they will have the power supply problems figured out.

Two things I must comment on.

1) If Microsoft has trouble with something as simple as power supplies, then WTF else is wrong with their system.

Quote:

"And do you really think that, if blu-ray does come out on top, that the 360 won't release with a version that can play bluray versions as well? Legally, as long as MS pays the same small fees that other blu ray player manufacterers pay to use sony's tech, Sony can't stop MS from putting blu ray drives in their 360s. And by then, the drives will likely be a lot cheaper, and a lot faster than the once found on the launch PS3s."

He's bitching about costs but at the same time is willing to fork out another $200-300 to buy another 360 that plays Blu-ray discs.

If history repeats itself, then by the time the Blu-ray technology takes off it will be time to buy another Xbox 360 anyway because it will die after one year. :rolleyes

EDIT:
Max the closest Sony can get to Xbox Live is what's on SOCOM or EA Sports games. EA Sports games you can chat with people who are playing a different EA Sports game. On Xbox Live it's that way for EVERY game.
